Why?

Harvest Volunteer Fire-Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible.

Every minute of every day the Harvest Volunteer Fire Department stands ready to come to our community’s assistance. Whether it’s a Fire, Medical Emergency, Car Accident or Natural Disaster such as April 2011, the men and women of HVFD put aside their personal safety and time to help others in need. Just last year, we answered over 1,800 calls. 

The membership of the Harvest Volunteer Fire Department is very proud of the property, equipment, and apparatus that we have. However, there are always needs of the department. We take pride in everything we own making sure we have the best equipment possible to serve our citizens with the best Fire and EMS service.

Operating an effective Volunteer Fire Department requires a continual stream of resources, both human and hardware. While the labor is donated via our family of volunteers, financial donations are needed to help offset the expenses associated with the replacement of equipment. Any donations will go to help replace and or purchase new equipment to help better serve our community. We make sure 100% of your donation goes towards our community!
