Who We are & How We Serve

Harvest Volunteer Fire Department is 100% volunteer. We have been serving Madison County since 1973

HVFD is responsible for 26 square miles and serves an estimated population of 18,000 people. HVFD operates out of 3 stations and is home to one of the largest high schools in Alabama. We set our expectations higher than most because we want to provide the best Fire & EMS services to the citizens of Harvest. Comprised of 30 members, we all come from different lines of work, from welders, electricians, nurses, businessman, and many others – coming together to protect the people and the property of the community. “Citizens over Self”
