EMS Support Personnel

EMS Support Personnel assist at emergency scenes in non-clinical roles, providing vital support to firefighters and EMTs. These individuals do not function as structural firefighters or EMTs but contribute by managing traffic control, assisting with equipment and logistics, setting up rehab areas, and performing other duties as assigned by the Station Captain or Incident Commander (IC).
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- CPR certification (AHA or equivalent)
- Attend at least eight (8) scheduled training sessions annually (2 per quarter)
This role is ideal for individuals who want to serve their community in a meaningful way without direct involvement in firefighting or patient care.
